Unilever brings beauty polls to Indonesia

JAKARTA--Polls fever has hit the advertising industry in Indonesia. JWT-AdForce has launched a multi-media campaign to select a new beauty idolfor Unilever's Lux soap.

Indonesia's No. 1 agency, according to Ad Age figures, JWT-AdForce is running newspaper, magazine, radio and TV ads featuring seven top Indonesian woman celebrities. Outdoor boards for the contest have also been erected near several major intersections.

Readers and TV audiences are asked to vote for their favorite by writing down one name on a Lux wrapper.

This is the first time that such a unique media campaign has ever beenconducted in the country.
