Unilever launches pyramid tea bag in Ireland

DUBLIN -- Unilever Ireland is backing the launch of its Lyons brand pyramid-shaped tea bag in Ireland with a radio and TV campaign created by Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide.

Unilever claims the pyramid-shaped tea bag creates more room for the tea, thereby enhancing the infusion process and producing a better end result.

Lyons is Ireland's second-biggest grocery brand. Tea sales in Ireland are growing at an annual rate of 10%.

Unilever's U.K. tea brand, PG Tips, has already seen strong growth in sales of pyramid-shaped tea bags.
