Unilever reviews $28m Russian media account

Published on .

MOSCOW -- Unilever is reviewing its $28 million media account in Russia, with a pitch due to be held at the end of August.

The account is currently with MindShare, the incumbent of around three years. Competing for the business are club agencies WPP-owned MindShare, McCann-Erickson and Intitiative Media, owned by Ammirati Puris Lintas.

A decision is expected in September.

Russia is set to become one of Unilever's biggest and most successful margarine markets, the company claims, following the introduction of Rama margarine, which has taken the No. 1 spot just 18 months after launch.
