Univeral McCann India names president

Chintamani Rao, head of McCann-Erickson Worldwide's Delhi office, has been promoted to president of sister Interpublic Group agency Universal McCann, the media buying and planning specialist. He replaces Ambika Srivastava, who left to join the Discovery Channel. Replacing Mr. Rao in Delhi is Sanjay Nayan, who has been named senior VP and general manager. Mr. Nayan joins McCann from TBWA Worldwide in Bombay, where he was president and chief operating officer.
