The Daily Jolt, a rapidly growing network of student-created campus Web sites, formed a partnership with Universal Music Group to promote awareness of UMG's new broadband programming initiative. Universal will offer college-age music fans programming designed for high-speed Internet access, which is widely available on most campuses. The partnership gives UMG access to a network of more than 100 campus-specific Web sites. The partnership will be promoted through a co-branded sweepstakes, which includes on-campus posters, college radio-station promotions and ads on UMG's musicUwant portal featuring UMG new video programming.
