Universal names concerts marketer

Angie Diehl Jacobs was named VP-marketing, Universal Concerts, a division of Universal Studios' Universal Music Group, Universal City, Calif., from director of marketing for the Concerts Division and Amphitheatre Entertainment units of Blockbuster/Pace Concerts. Universal Concerts said it owns and/or operates ten concert venues and is the largest grossing promoter of concert events in North America, drawing more than 5 million concert goers to more than 1,000 concert events annually.
