Universal targets college market

Universal Studios Online will launch animalhouse.com, a virtual "hang-out" for college students, in spring 1998. Universal is joining forces with Hyundai Information Technology Co. for the project, which coincides with the 20th anniversary of the release of Universal's famous film "Animal House." Jay Samit, VP of Universal Studio's New Media Group, has been named president of animalhouse.com.
