Disability insurance provider UNUM Corp. selected US Interactive, New York, as interactive agency of record for the $1 million to $3 million account. US Interactive's work includes re-designing UNUM's Web site
with e-commerce, and handling online media, broker and customer support extranets, and adapting mainframe applications to its intranet. Thirty-five agencies participated in the review; the final four contenders were Image Works, Portland, Maine; Interactive Solutions and TVisions, both Boston; and US Interactive. Image Works was the incumbent agency.
