Upper Canada brewing taps Holmes & Lee

Published on .

TORONTO--The Upper Canada Brewing Co., based in Guelph, Ontario, has chosen Holmes & Lee of Toronto as its agency of record. Upper Canada, a division of Sleeman Breweries, the third largest brewer in Canada, has been without an agency since May, when it split with its former agency, Publicis SMW of Toronto, due to a conflict of interest.

Holmes & Lee is already the agency of record for another Sleeman division, Stroh Canada.

Holmes & Lee had been working with Upper Canada, which has eight lager and ale brands, on a project basis for some radio creative prior to getting the entire account, which was given to them without an agency review.
