Uproar files for U.S. IPO

Online gaming site Uproar filed for a U.S. initial public offering with the Securities & Exchange Commission. The site is already traded in Europe under the European Association of Securities Dealers' Automated Quotation system. It registered to sell up to $100 million of its common stock. Salomon Smith Barney is the lead underwriter on the offering. Uproar, which had 4.2 million registered users in October, provides games for single users and groups.
