UPS exits Olympics

United Parcel Service ended its partnership with the International Olympics Committee, becoming the second major marketer to pull out. UPS, a worldwide Olympic sponsor since 1994, opted not to renew its deal, which ends Dec. 31. UPS's departure follows the exit of IBM Corp., which ended its long-time Olympics sponsorship after this year's Summer Games in Sydney.
