The quote talks about the weapons of advertising. I don't like to think of our core human emotions as "weapons." That sounds too underhanded. Actually, I think the great pieces of communication have one thing in common: honesty. And I think that what we do as creatives is to make things that resonate within ourselves. If it makes us laugh, cry, run away screaming, chances are it'll do the same to someone else.
