USA Network will support the tour with print ads in teen magazines as well as with local radio and cable TV spots. A "Be a star" sweepstakes promotion in 96 theaters begins Sept. 19, supported by on-screen ads, a music video on the video wall of certain theater lobbies and displays. A back-to-school sweepstakes promotion, supported by on-air promos on USA, begins Aug. 18, while a separate tie-in with Total TV begins Aug. 16. Fallon McElligott, Minneapolis, handles USA.
