Time Warner Interactive for sale
Videogame software developer Time Warner Interactive, Milpitas, Calif., appears to be entertaining offers from buyers, only 18 months after New York-based parent Time Warner Inc. consolidated and renamed the unit. Neither Time Warner nor rumored suitors Acclaim Entertainment and Electronic Arts would comment on the possible sale of the unit, which incorporates veteran videogame brands Atari Games and Tengen. Best known for its "Primal Rage" videogame for arcades and home systems, Time Warner Interactive is one of only two companies capable of developing games from the arcade directly to consumers.
