Viacom MGS Services is sold

Vyvx, a leading international provider of integrated fiber optic, satellite and teleport media transmission services, has acquired Viacom MGS Services, a major provider of broadcast advertising distribution, from Viacom. Last November, Vyvx acquired Cycle-Sat, another leading ad distribution service. The two purchases now make Vyvx the largest distributor of TV and radio commercials combined, according to the company. Vyvx is owned by WilTech Group, one of the Williams Cos.
