Vicinity teams with wireless providers

Vicinity, a location-based marketing company, will provide wireless services providers such as AT&T Corp.'s AT&T Digital PocketNet, GTE Wireless, Omnisky and XyPoint the ability to provide their users with pull-down menus of nearby restaurants, cash machines and retailers, as well as other services such as directions, addresses and phone numbers. Entries are keyed to brand name companies.
