Virgin taps Broadvision for online service

Virgin Net, a U.K. joint venture between Virgin Communications and International CableTel, will use software for one-to-one marketing from Broadvision, the companies announced Wednesday. Virgin Net will launch by yearend, offering a Web interface as well as shopping, news and entertainment services in the U.K. Broadvision software will enable Virgin Net to dynamically adapt information to individual users.
