Visa, Yahoo! link on Web content deal

Published on .

Visa U.S.A. on Tuesday announced a yearlong deal with Yahoo! for the first-ever ad-supported site on the Internet navigator service. Users of Yahoo! searching for recreational information will have the option of clicking on Visa's "SiteSeer" microsite within Yahoo!, which will include a regularly updated list of the 10 most interesting sites on the Web in the areas of entertainment, travel, sports, dining and recreation. Visa's Yahoo! site will also point users toward Visa's own site. Softbank Interactive Marketing and BBDO, New York, created the program for Visa.
