Vivitar Corp., Toluca Lake, Calif., boosting its ad budget to an estimated $3 million, awarded consumer and trade advertising for its Sports Optics, Digital Imaging and Photographics divisions to roster agency Potter/Katz & Partners, also Toluca Lake, in a consolidation. Potter/Katz had handled Vivitar's Digital Imaging division. Kodiak Advertising, Moorpark, Calif., was the other incumbent and held the rest of the Vivitar assignments. Spending on the combined business was less than $1 million last year.
