Vlasic dusts off '74 commercial

Published on .

Vlasic Foods International next month will relaunch the 1974 campaign for its Vlasic pickle brand featuring the voice of Groucho Marx as the Vlasic stork. The animated spot, titled "The Best Tasting Pickle I've Ever Heard," was originally handled by Doner, Southfield, Mich., but has been redigitized by FCB Worldwide, New York, for its reintroduction Nov. 1. To celebrate the 25th anniversary of using Groucho Marx's voice, Vlasic next week launches a Groucho Marx impersonation contest to find the voice for new ads that will break next summer via FCB.
