VOLVO DEALER ADS COMBINE SAFETY, BABIES

Puget Sound Volvo Dealers is running transit ads and TV spots themed "Buy safely," a play on Volvo's national "Drive safely" effort. "We wanted something to draw attention to the No. 1 safety record that Volvo is proud of," said Martin Rood, dealer group president. Other executions by Kobasic Hadley & Co., Seattle, feature babies with the copy lines: "If you think now is a good time to own a Volvo, wait 'til he's 16" and "The best reason for buying a Volvo can't talk."
