Volvo talks safety

Volvo said it will spend more than $5 million in a TV and newspaper campaign breaking Monday warning that children shouldn't ride in a vehicle's front seat, especially if it has air bags. Messner Vetere Berger McNamee Schmetterer/Euro RSCG, New York, created the safety campaign running through fall. Volvo again uses actor Donald Sutherland to narrate the 30-second spot. Deploying airbags have been blamed for a number of deaths of young children.
