Voter.com, Microsoft enter content deal

Voter.com and Microsoft Corp. agreed to a content-sharing, co-branding and advertising deal that will launch a co-branded Web site and create extensive links between MSNBC and Voter.com. Voter.com and Slate will share content; Slate will offer Voter.com's product offerings, including candidate profiles, position papers and advocacy group information. MSNBC will promote Voter.com headlines and provide links to Voter.com on every political news page in MSNBC.com. The advertising deal is exclusive: No other sponsorship or other nonbanner advertising will be sold to any online polling sites on MSN Politics, Slate or MSNBC. No financial details were released.
