VW breaks 2 teaser spots

Volkswagen of America breaks two 30-second teaser brand spots Nov. 9 on network and cable TV. Arnold Communications, Boston, developed two unusual life vignettes to build excitement for 1999 models. VW cars do not appear in any of the four spots, airing through 1998. The '99 Jetta goes on sale later this year; ads arrive early next year.
