VW won't deny talk of $400 mil review

Volkswagen is not denying widespread speculation the automaker may review its $400 million account, handled by DDB Needham Worldwide in 28 countries outside the U.S. "We are thinking about many possibilities for strengthening the Volkswagen brand."

No decision has been made about inviting other agencies or creative groups for a pitch," said a VW spokesman. VW also wouldn't comment on reports Marketing Director Dieter Dalhoff, a DDB Needham supporter, may be on his way out.
