BEIJING -- Retail giant Wal-Mart Stores is planning to open up to four stores and one Sam's Club superstore in Beijing within the next two years. Each store will have a total floor space of about 165,764 square feet. The move comes as speculation grows that Tesco, a leading U.K. supermarket chain, is also poised to enter Beijing.
