Wall Street Journal announces affiliate program

The Wall Street Journal Interactive Edition is starting a new affiliate program that will allow Web sites to post free headlines and a global market in exchange for generating subscriptions for the Interactive Journal. The sites will also get a $5 revenue cut per subscriber who stays on the service for 60 days. Any Web site can apply to offer the program, which allows sites to use either live headline feeds or an ad banner to link to the Interactive Journal registration. Charter affiliates include United National Bank, New Jersey Entrepreneurial Network and the Pocono Record Online.
