Published on .

Digitalsouth, a new magazine from Warfield Media, West Palm Beach, Fla., debuts this week at InternetWorld Expo in Chicago. The bi-monthly title focuses on digital communications and venture capital in the South. Charter advertisers include J.P. Morgan & Co., Raymond James, Interstate/Johnson Lane, Silicon Valley Bank and Alex. Brown & Sons. Alexander Communications, San Francisco and Atlanta, is handling launch publicity.

As part of an initial marketing blitz, 60% of the magazine's initial mailing will target senior executives heading emerging or established digital or interactive corporations. The remainder will hit attorneys, accountants, financiers and marketing executives who work within the industry.
