Web businesses fail to capitalize on European opportunities: Jupiter

While Europe is home to more than half of the world's most sophisticated Web markets, U.S. and European Union Web enterprises have failed to move toward establishing high-value consumer relationships aggressively, says Jupiter Communications. While European nations secured 12 of the top 20 spots for Internet sophistication and 10 of the top 20 spots for future Internet market potential, the consultancy believes the continued development of Europe's Internet economy is not a given, unless more meaningful, high-value relationships with consumers are established.
