Web shop quits two accounts

Magnet Interactive Communications, Washington, resigned its Mattel Matchbox account and its De Beers account, which it handled through J. Walter Thompson USA, to refocus on larger accounts and new, undisclosed projects. Magnet had developed and maintained the Matchbox Toys Web site and the De Beers-sponsored Diamond Information Center. Magnet's clients include American Greetings Corp., Dow Jones & Co., Federal Express Corp., Kellogg Co. and others.
