New Web site to compare long-distance rates

The Telecommunications Research & Action Center announced its new Web site will feature a pricing tool to help consumers decide which long-distance calling plan will save them the most money. Located on the TRAC home page, WebPricer was produced in association with Salestar, a San Francisco-based company, which provides long-distance phone comparison software and databases to telecommunications companies. TRAC's free service will allow consumers to compare the rates of five of the largest long distance companies on specific calls they make.
