Internet employment site Hotjobs.com, New York, is buying a national TV spot during Super Bowl XXXIII on Jan. 31, taking a cue from Web car seller Auto-By-Tel, the first Internet company to advertise in the game. Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos, Boston, will create the 30-second ad. The Web recruiter plans to use the Super Bowl to make a branding splash with consumers as well as drive traffic to the site. The company is still negotiating price and placement of the spot.
