Internet companies NetGravity, inCommon, WiseWire and Informix have formed an alliance to offer a comprehensive solution for building smart push channels that adapt to user preferences, allow more personalized Web advertising and capture more ad impressions. The agreements unite inCommon's Downtown push publishing framework with NetGravity's AdServer, WiseWire's intelligent agent and Informix's Universal Web Architecture.
In related news, inCommon has added six new channels that will become available on its push technology publishing platform: Preview Travel, PC World, MovieLink, Los Angeles Times, The Auto Channel and Astrology.net. They join a other publishers including: Yahoo!, USA TODAY, SportsLine USA, The New York Times and The Motley Fool.
