Microsoft Corp.'s WebTV Networks today announces a new ad service combining the Internet and TV commercials. With new Click-to-Video ads, WebTV subscribers who select a banner ad will, if one is available, then view a full-screen TV commercial before landing at the advertiser's Web site. Launch advertisers include Carter-Wallace, E! Online, Hewlett-Packard Co., Maytag Corp. and Volvo Cars of North America.
