First came broccoli, then corn cobs, and now it's yams and mackerels that are the butt of the joke in Anheuser-Busch's new "It'd be weird without beer" image advertising. In the first of two new spots from Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, San Francisco, that could break on this weekend's NBA games, two older men celebrating their years of friendship reach for yams. A second spot features a cowboy asking his girlfriend's father for her hand in marriage and the father responding with two mackerels.
