Wella shifts focus

Wella, the German hair care and personal products marketer, will refocus on its core business of marketing hair care products through beauty salons and will abandon supermarket sales in a number of countries, including the U.S., where it sells Wella Balsam shampoo. It will continue retail sales through mass market outlets in about 30 countries worldwide.
