Western Int'l exits GrandMet media review

Western International has dropped out of the $50 million consolidated print media review being conducted by Grand Metropolitan's International Distillers & Vintners unit. Western executives said it decided against participation to focus on existing client issues. The fallout leaves Y&R Advertising, J. Walter Thompson USA and Lowe & Partners/SMS, New York, in the running.
