Chicago-based e-business consultancy Whittman-Hart on Nov. 12 acquired Four Points Digital, Chicago. Formerly one of the few remaining independent interactive agencies, Four Points
has a client list that includes 3Com Corp., Ameritech Corp., W.W. Grainger Co., Hyatt Hotels Corp. and Quaker Oats Co. Terms of the deal were undisclosed. Four Points, which has a San Francisco office, has 80 employees. It was founded in 1997 by CEO Michael DeNunzio, President/Chief Operating Officer Pete Monkewicz and Chief Interactive Architect Pierre St. Jacques. Whittman-Hart has 3,700 employees in 21 offices in the U.S. and the U.K. Whittman's clients include Bale, a company that makes awards and trophies for the grade-school market, Diners Club and Model Mold Machine Co.
