Published on .

Free e-mail and Web pages provider WhoWhere? will announce March 11 that it's launching the WhoWhere? Network to sell space for the sites that use its Web hosting, e-mail and other Internet services. Included in the ad network will be online community the Globe, which just signed on to the WhoWhere? network; NetNoir; Qualcomm's Eudora; and the American School Directory.

WhoWhere?, which is based in Mountain View, Calif., also will announce that in April it's opening a new office in New York to support the ad network. Ted Shelton, senior VP-sales and marketing, will oversee the satellite office, which expects to have 15 on staff by the end of '98.
