Wieden & Kennedy, Portland, Ore., continuing to parlay its sports expertise, was named first agency for the Pep Boys Indy Racing League. The win is the second this month of a sports-related product for Wieden, which built its agency on work for Nike. Earlier, the agency won the $12 million Powerbar account. For Pep Boys, Wieden will use TV, print, Internet and event marketing in the ad efforts. Billings were undisclosed.
