Windows mag launches Net section

Interest in Web coverage remains strong at tech publishing companies like CMP Publications and IDG. CMP's Windows launches in its July issue a section called ``The Net.'' Ad rates in the section are the same as the magazine's one-time regular rates: four-color ads are $26,305; b&w ads are $21,505. IDG announced plans to launch a magazine called The Web this fall.
