[new york] WinStar, a new wireless telecommunications pro-vider, breaks a print and TV campaign this week introducing its product in the New York area.

Handled by Trone Advertising, Greensboro, N.C., the campaign features helicopter footage of the canyons of the city and carries the tagline, "WinStar, the new phone company."

Spending was undisclosed, but the company has created ad "roadblocks" during Sunday night programming for the next five weeks and will run full-page ads in The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times every Monday.
