WNBA, Lady Foot Locker forge pact

The Women's National Basketball Association has inked Lady Foot Locker, a division of Woolworth Corp., New York, to a long-term marketing partnership. Lady Foot Locker will have exclusive rights over the sports specialty retailer category in WNBA telecasts on NBC, ESPN and Lifetime. It also gets courtside signage and rights to use WNBA marks in promotions and advertising. Terms weren't disclosed. NBA Properties, New York, handles marketing for the WNBA.
