WNBC is now NBC 4

In a move to strengthen identification with the network, NBC's New York affiliate, WNBC, today announced it would brand itself "NBC 4" and rename its news broadcasts "News Channel 4." The new identity which appears on-air September 5, will coincide with a new newscast, "News Channel 4 at Noon" and includes a logo, graphics and news theme change.
