Women.com's new research profiles the online woman

New research from Women.com Networks shows 70% of women surveyed cannot imagine life without Internet access. The research also found that the average woman online is more likely to be married than single, is in her thirties and has a generally high household income. Additional findings include: Women find micro-site marketing the most effective form of online advertising. The research comes on the heels of the online women's network announcement of a new e-commerce initiative, "She Gets Dressed'' (shegetsdressed.com), an apparel and accessories area. This is the network's first direct online effort to consumer.
