Published on .

The Women's United Soccer Association, New York, is beginning a search for a national agency. The selected agency will develop a national campaign to launch the new league, which begins play in April 2001. The WUSA earlier this week announced a four-year exclusive cable agreement with Turner Broadcasting System. The league's first eight team markets conditionally are Atlanta; Boston; New York; Orlando-Tampa, Fla.; Philadelphia; San Diego, San Francisco Bay area; and Washington, D.C. The WUSA will feature all the members of the 1999 World Cup champion team.
