Womesforum.com launches national ad sales effort

Womensforum.com, a network of independent Web sites for women, is opening a New York office as part of its expansion of advertising sales and marketing efforts. Separately, the company named Stan Weil chief operating officer-general manager, a new position. Mr. Weil had been executive VP-sales, Hollywood Stock Exchange. Womensforum.com also hired Emily Chapman as senior VP-sales and new business development from VP-strategic partnerships for Learning Network, a division of Pearson PLC. She will run the New York office, which will serve as the hub of the company's national ad sales force.
