WPP adds directors

London-based agency holding company WPP Group named two new directors--Eric Salama, WPP's strategy director, and Hamish Maxwell, formerly chairman-CEO of Philip Morris Cos., who will serve in a non-executive capacity. Mr. Salama, in his post since 1994, previously was joint managing director of the Henley Centre, a marketing consultancy owned by WPP. Mr. Maxwell, who held several marketing posts at Philip Morris, was chairman from 1984 to 1991.
