Published on .

SINGAPOE--WPP Group's brand and identity consultancy Enterprise IG has acquired two agencies in Asia-Pacific in partnership with Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide -- Horniak & Canny in Sydney and Melbourne, and Springham Anderson in Singapore and Perth. Both acquired companies will be renamed Enterprise IG.

Mike Murphy, CEO of the Enterprise IG Group in Singapore, says "both are very strong companies and bring key strengths and a strong client base to the group," including clients such as Fosters in Sydney and Bank Mandiri in Indonesia. Enterprise IG already had offices in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Shanghai.

Meanwhile, the O&M network has appointed Freddy Bee as client services director for Southeast Asia, based in O&M, Bangkok, to head the brand teams responsible for international business in O&M Thailand. Mr. Bee has been with Ogilvy & Mather since 1975.

In Kuala Lumpur, O&M Malaysia has appointed Jeffery Seow as client service director to lead part of the client portfolio, provide account and management supervision, and give guidance for new business, client service development and training. Mr. Seow joins O&M from Saatchi & Saatchi.
