WPP Group, London, said it acquired direct marketing/sales promotion agency Marketing Perspectives, West London, as part of its strategy to expand in relationship marketing. WPP said the agency, with a staff of 70, has a client list that includes American Express Co., Carlsberg-Tetley, Eurobell, Hewlett-Packard Co., Orange and Virgin Interactive. Terms were not disclosed. Marketing Perspectives will join WPP's Branding & Identity, Healthcare and Specialist Communications division.
